Island Princess status

Does anyone know the status of the Island Princess? Web cam on Princess's web site shows nothing, but had shown that the ship was in drydock. I'm scheduled for a Hawaii cruise in October. Thanx,

Yes the Island Princess is in Dry Dock undergoing an overhaul. This means that she'll be in tip-top condition when she starts her round of Hawaii Cruises. And don't worry, Princess will have her right on schedule.

It suddenly dawned on me why the cameras are turned off on the Island Princess. They're scrubbing her bottom to get rid of the barnicles and, as you know, it's impolite to watch a Lady when she's performing her 'toilette'.

Good morning,

She's in drydock in Victoria since 11th September, after deadheading there on 10th following disembarkation from her last southbound from Whittier for the season.
Back In Vancouver 19th, for a 3 day coastal to L.A. departing 20th.
We're on it....so she better be there !!!!!

I beleive some of the preventative maintenance they're conducting at this time ( this was a scheduled drydock ) is complemented by the '' mini-suites upgrades '' Princess has advertized as '' starting in Sept '05 ''.

Yes, when she gets ready for her season of sailing to/from Hawaii, she'll be in great shape !!!

Ah, well, that's good to know. Thanx. We were on the IP for the same cruise last October, and we loved it. Can't wait. Just 3 weeks to go!
