Do the cabins come with a safe to store valuables when you are not using them? (I.e. jewelry, extra cash, wallet, etc.)
For example, what do most people do when they want to go for a swim or to the exercise room or a snorkling trip on shore but they don't want to take all their valuables with them?
Thanks for all of your help. My wife and I will be first time cruisers.
Hi! When we go snorkeling/swimming, we carry a waterproof pouch. I understand that there are several kinds. This one is big enough to hold passports/cash/and your ship ID (etc.) and has a long strap that I wear around my neck and tuck into my swimsuit.
The safe: All you need on the ship is your ship card for purchases.
When you go ashore you really only need to take your ships card, photo id or passport, credit card and some spending money. If you don't take the passport you can put it all in a ziploc baggie and if it gets wet, what the heck, they still work the same wet. Just put them in a travel wallet around your neck.
Take care and have great cruise,

there is a small safe in your stateroom.
When on board all you need is your sign and sail card
Do not bring any valuables on shore
Most beaches have lockers for rental
Your stuff is safe on an excursion, the tour companies livelyhood depends upon it.
If you have any thing that is of high value- jewerly or a large high value item - you may store it in the ships vault - see the Purser
