1st timer on the Caribbean Princess

In an earlier topic someone gave a comparison between the Baja and Caribe balconies on the Sapphire Princess. Can anyone tell me the difference between the two decks on the Caribbean Princess?

Also, what is the difference between a BA and a BD stateroom?

What's a good hotel to stay in Ft. Lauderdale, anything that offers a shuttle to the dock?

go to Princess web site and check out each ship. I belive that they are sister ships so the lay-out would be the same.
Difference in cabin catagories - location
We really like to stay at the Embassy Suites in Ft. Lauderdale. They offer shuttle service from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the pier.
Book the shuttle service to the pier when you check-in as it fills up really fast.

Holiday Inn Express on 17th has a free pickup from airport and a $6 shuttle to the pier. AmeriSuites on 17th has free pickup from airport (used to have free shuttle to pier but it's not shown on their site now) - still it's only about a $10 taxi ride from this area. If you try valuetrips.com, you can get a special rate at AmeriSuites as long as it isn't one of their blocked out dates. Then, there's the Marriott Marina also 17th. This is a handy area to stay in - and you can see the pier from most - if not all - of these. Also, there's a Publix and a liquor store in the area in case you want to pick anything up prior to sailing.
