Soda Card - tip included?
Hi. Just wanted to know, if I buy a soda card will I also get charged for a tip every time I ask for a soda using the card?

we just got off the caribbean princess and got the soda card,we paid the 15% on the purchase of the card but that was it for the cruise, but this card is only good for fountain drinks not can soda.

I see! So you can buy cans though on your own and pay tax and tip likely on each can!

That's an interesting point becuase I really hate fountain soda! Might be worth it to just buy the cans then. I apprecaite your response.

when you purchase the soda sticker it is a flat rate, you will not see any charges on your account for soda or soda gratuity.
I thought that the fountain soda was just fine, as did my husband and teenage son who is pretty picky about his soda.
I would imagine that the gratuity is built into the cost of the soda sticker.
FYI the soda sticker does not cover virgin cocktails or bottled water.

The soda card is $3.99 plus 15% tip each day. No extra, fill up as many times as you like.

So you can buy a soda card by the day? I thought you had to buy it for the whole cruise. (I.e. $25 for the whole cruise)

No, you have to purchase it for the whole cruise. I've only seen them on sale outside the Lido on departure day. Tip is included!
