Default Hangers and Iron available?

We've read a ton of posts (thanks for all the info!) and still have a two questions...
1) Are there hangers in the closets and steam irons available in the staterooms?
2) We read somewhere that Princess "counts" previous sailings aboard Cunard ships- can anyone validate that as fact? (If true, our TA wan't sure if Princess would be inclined to "count" sailings over 25 years ago!)

Thanks in advance...

Nevermind... my lovely wife just showed me the *several* places where irons are discussed in depth. Wrinkle release? Amazing.

I would still like to know if any readers who also cruised Cunard had that cruise added to their Princess points, however.

Thanks again...

Doubt that Cunard trips would be added to Princess ... don't know of any of Carnival's various lines that are added to their other lines. I sailed on Carnival in the early '80s and they wouldn't give me credit cuz the program wasn't started until later. I sailed Cunard more than 25 years ago - and no credit to Princess.

Could be wrong ... call Cunard and/or Princess and see what they say. Would be interested if I'm wrong cuz then I'd try it, too.

I cruise the Emerald Princess, Eastern Caribbean on April 16, 2012

I called Princess and was told "no way" re the Cunard trip. Too long ago; the plan was not in place at that point. It was worth a try! I may ask again once I am aboard- while I am booking the next cruise... of course! <grin>
Happy cruzing...
