Just back from Caribbean Princess (website w/photos)

My hubby and I just sailed the Caribbean Princess (11/19-11/26/05. We've just uploaded a lot of pictures from our cruise to our personal website. We stayed in a mini-suite on the Dolphin deck (D710). We included several pictures of our cabin and views from our uncovered balcony.

Great pics, you have a really nice digital camera.

Question, what is that brown leather looking cover thing on the bed in the first pictures.

Also, It appears as though they changed the bedspread to the new duvet set mid cruise? In the begining photos it is the old green bed spread and then at the end it is the new down duvet comforter. Did they really do this mid way through the voyage?

How is the new bedding?

The brown leather looking cover on the bed is there when you first arrive in the cabin. It's meant to protect the bedding from your luggage while you unpack.

The green bedspread is on the bed during the day (on top of the new duvet). At night, they remove the bedspread and just leave the duvet.

The new bedding was great-much more comfy than the old beds.

I have to say, your photos are not merely due to having a nice digital camera, you have a professional's eye for framing the shot as well as the technical know-how to capture the image exquisitely.

We have just returned from St. Thomas and St, Maarten on Carnival, and have also just booked the Caribbean Princess for May. Looking forward to seeing those ports again, as well as Princess Cays, it looks wonderful. Nice to see the room and ship shots too!

What did you enjoy most about your cruise?

What do you recommend doing while aboard the Caribbean Princess?

The thing we enjoyed the most was just relaxing. Our vacations are usually a bit more active and our nbr 1 goal for this cruise was to relax. Our balcony was the perfect spot for doing that.

We didn't really do too many of the organized activities onboard as we've done those type things on previous cruises. I would definitely recommend watching a MUTS (Movie Under the Stars). We also really enjoyed the Sterling Steakhouse (twice).

Thanks so much for the pictures!!! Husband and I are booked on the CB in June. Photography is a hobby of mine and the last few cruises I have been on I haven't really taken any pictures. You have inspired me to take lots this time!!!
