Default Alaskan cruise, will my kids have a good time?

I need help with this question. It seems when I ask people whether they think my girls 17, 16 and 8 would enjoy going on an Alaskan cruise the opinions are split down the middle.
As my Daughter gets ready to Graduate and go off to College I feel it would be a trip of a lifetime with my family. We have gone on many vacations together but whenever it was a cruise it was just my wife and myself. So this would be their first.
OK Cruisers what do you think?
Thanks for the help.[/list]

My sons have been on a number of cruises with us, starting out at age 9 & 14, in '94. They've been to the Caribbean, Mexican Riviera, and Alaska.

And, though you may not have guessed it, Alaska was their favorite cruise.

The amazing beauty, and the adventure excursions available, are like no experience on earth.

My kids were 5 and 13 when we went to Alaska and they both enjoyed it and want to go back again.

My two sons have cruised Alaska 5 times each and loved it each time.
The youngest started Alaska at age 10 and the other cruised until age 20.
(needless to say they like cruisng anyway, but Alaska is a great family destination with pleanty to do)
My wife and I will be returning to AK in July.

We took our grandaughters in 2002, ages 9 and 11. They loved it and want to go back. Enjoy your trip.

I too think the kids would love an Alaska cruise. If you are going during the school break, there will be more kids onboard. On our Alaksa cruise, we wen tthe first week in Sept. and there were hardly any kids at all.
