Default Usage of pools on a Alaskan cruise?

We are going on an Alaskan cruise on the Sun Princess June 25th. My Kids (17 and 16), want to know if it's warm enough to use the pools at any time during the trip. I appreciate any help.

Not sure about the Sun but the Sapphire Princess has a retractable ceiling so you can enjoy swimming. Many other ships do too.

Hi rgo6185,

The Sun does have a pool with a retractable roof. Here's a link to the Riviera Deck plan:

The pool that's not labeled (below the Riviera Pool) has a retractable roof.

Hope you all have a wonderful cruise!

The solarium pools are great but we have also swam outdoors in some ports since the back pool on our Princess ship was heated and very warm (adults only). We have pictures of us swimming with glaciers in the background. We didn't stay outside long once we got out of the water though!

Thanks, CA, Fern and KLB. I told my daughters I didn't think the pools would get much use on an Alaskan cruise. But If it's heated I'll bet they'll be going in at least for a bit.
