Default Differences in the Princesses

I'm new to all of this and was wondering why I don't see any posts concerning the Sun Princess (on which we are sailing to Alaska in July).
Are the differences due to age or price ranges?
I went into this blind - went to a travel agent and this is what he hooked me up with.
My worries are dwindling since I started reading all of your posts.
Thanks for the info.

Gail,

MV Sun Princess is a fantastic ship. I would choose that ship or either of her sisters, MV Dawn Princess and MV Sea Princess, over any of Princess's post-panamax vessels (MV Grand Princess, MV Golden Princess, MV Star Princess, MV Diamond Princess, MV Sapphire Princess, MV Caribbean Princess, and MV Crown Princess) without hesitation. In fact, five of my thirteen cruises with Princess were aboard MV Sun Princess.

Norm.

we have sailed on her sister the Sea Princess. Beautiful ship, she is big but not huge, she has a small ship intimate feeling about her. Very easy to get around.

Loved her sister Sea Princess ... she was the first to get us loving Princess. And hope you have a mini-suite on this class of Princess -- they are to die for!

I agree with the other postings so far - the Sun Class ships are the best. We did the Panama Canal on the Dawn Princess in a mini-suite. Wow - it was great. Love that it is not so big you feel like you are in the middle of a theme park, but big enough to have options and lots of activities. Would choose this class of princess over the others every time.
