Hello all,
We are taking our first cruise and it is to Alaska in July. I'm the world's worst for overpacking, so I'm asking for a couple of hints.
I see where the weather is in the 60's and 70's, so probably long pants and maybe long sleeved tops. How about sweatshirts? We are not fancy people who stay in "four star hotels" so I'm a little worried about our wardrobe.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

WE ARE CRUISING TO ALASKA IN SEPTEMBER. OUR FIRST TIME TO ALASKA. I AM NO EXPERT BUT I HAVE READ EVERYTHING ON CRUISEMATES AND I HAVE BEEN TOLD TAKE BLUEJEANS, COTTON TOPS, A THIN JACKET OR TWO, LAYER YOUR CLOTHES, AND RAINGEAR.
YOU WILL GET RAINED ON IN ALASKA. MOST OF THE TIME ITS SHOWERS AND NOT A DOWN POUR. HOWEVER, THAT HAPPENS AS WELL.
IF YOU ARE TAKING ONLY ONE PR OF SNEAKERS I've BEEN TOLD TO SPRAY THEM WITH WATER REPELENT OR YOU WILL LIKELY TO BE WEARING SOGGY SHOES
