Default Room under swimming pool?

I am in room A417 on the Aloha deck for my upcoming cruise on the Grand. It is right under one of the swimming pools on the Lido deck. I was curious to find out if the noise from the swimming pools carries to the room. If anyone has stayed in this room or one similar, please let me know. I just want to be prepared.

Thanks so much......Audrey

Hi aleexandaudrecyc,

We haven't been in one of these cabins, but you may hear chairs being moved around early in the morning when the staff cleans the Lido deck. Since it's a cabin under the pool, you should be fine.

Unless you are very light sleepers, it shouldn't bother you!

To me, this looks like a good cabin. You're close to the self serve laundry and to the forward elevators.

Have a wonderful cruise!

On our Dawn Princess cruise, our room was right _next_ to the pool (i.e., the pool was behind the rear of our cabin. We heard no pool noise at all. And we were right under the bandstand so we didn't hear any chairs scraping either. The only time we heard _any_ noise was on the Island Night, and then it was only faint music...
