We will be sailing on Crown Princess in January. We will be in cabin C215. Anybody know if this is a good cabin and how big is the balcony?
Thanks

If you sign on to the Princess web site you can view a diagram of the ship and deck you are on as well as what public facilities you are sharing your deck with. You can also determine what is above and/or below you on the ship by viewing the deckplan above and below your deck.

Thanks.I checked out the princess site and this cabin seems to be toward the front of the ship on the port side on the Cribe deck.

Hi ninapo,

Welcome to Cruisemates!

Cabin C215 is on the starboard side of the ship. It's between two passenger decks, so should be quiet. You may feel a little more movement being forward. You’re relatively close to the stairs, elevators and the self serve laundry (just in case you want to wash clothes on your vacation !)

We haven't been on the Crown (yet! ), but I believe that the balconies on Caribe deck are larger than other balconies and half covered. (Someone please correct me if I'm wrong .)

Have a wonderful cruise!

Thanks for your reply Fern; I am still sort of new to cruising; 2nd cruise for me. I dont't think I want to do any laundry though. I am so excited to go.

You're definitely RIGHT. We switched from the Riviera deck to the Caribe just to get the balcony. Apparently they are 50% larger than the other balconies. With 3.5 sea days on my cruise I intend to spend a decent amount of time on the balcony so wanted that extra little bit of paradise.

I'm glad to hear the balconies will bre large.I plan on spending a lot of time just relaxing on the balcony. This has been a hard year for me healthwise, so I am really looking forward to this vacation. We will be celebrating our 20th anniversary also.

Congratualtions to you and yours. When do you cruise. Our cruise is Jan 27-Feb 3, 07 Southern Caribbean route. We picked this cruise because my husband and I met in Barbados and we promised each other when we made it to 20 years of marriage we would return to the place where we met.

Oh how sweet and how romantic! I always told dh that I wanted to go on a cruise for our 25th and never figured we'd ever go on one before that. Turns out that the July one will be our third (second in March 07 and first one was so awful that we don't even discuss that one!).

We're sailing this one on July 14/07 (eastern - 9 night out of New York). We chose this one because of the port it was leaving from. Made it the most cost effective because it's always big bucks to fly from Toronto to Florida anywhere. Plus we're doing the western caribbean in March so this makes a nice round trip!

I'm so sorry I didn't reply sooner; we went to Panama City Beach, FL to the Indian Summer Festival. It was very nice. Now I am really ready to go on this cruise; just walking on the beach has made me so impatient to go....
