has anyone been on the crown princess yet, ime realy worried!. I have booked to go on this ship on january 20th, but have since heard that it is a very buisy ship with not enough sun beds and far to many people, any comments

We were on the Caribbean Princess, the Crown's sister ship, in June, and didn't feel too crowded at all. And our ship was at capacity. Were there lots of people? Yes. But there were still lots of times where we ran in to the same people over and over again who we recognized and said hello to.
Some of the more popular shows filled up, and so you may not be able to catch everything at the last minute, but we never felt the ship was too busy.
If we felt it was too crowded, we wouldn't have booked the Crown for April, which we have.

I was on the Crown Nov 18 -25th, '06, with 3,200 of us aboard, and we didn't feel crowded. If sun beds are the lounge chairs on the Lido deck, there was always a surplus. At meal times, you will find that you will have to share a table with others in the buffet dining areas, otherwise, you can go out on the Lido deck pool area and eat there.

I agree we never felt crowded on the Caribbean Princess. As you can see we too have booked the Crown Princess in November.

As the others have noted, there are indeed a lot of people aboard, but Princess has figured out how to manage these folks, and make it an enjoyable trip for all (IMO RCI should take a lesson from Princess in this regard) There are always multiple activities, and multiple shows so that everyone isn't trying to go the same place at the same time. Princess is great, and I have no doubt you'll enjoy your cruise immensely!
