Default Star Princess: Lido or Caribe Deck?

Hello. Has anyone booked a Lido Deck cabin on Star Princess (Category BA)? I'm trying to decide between Lido Deck (forward only) and Caribe Deck. Are the staterooms the same? Are the balcony sizes the same? I've read reports of the balconies not being very private. Thanks so much.

I would take the Caribe deck because the cabins are more mid-ships.
Caribe Deck: partially covered. Also the balconies on these cabins are larger than other balcony cabins on other decks.

If that bothers you then Lido Deck: fully covered.

I agree, we like the Caribe deck now because it is bigger, half covered and half open but we did have a Lido cabin when we cruised the Star and loved it. You are on the same deck as the food and pool. Being that far forward wasn't a problem either. Enjoy.

Caribe is my favorite! I love the larger balcony and spend a lot of time on it. If I couldn't get a Caribe deck cabin my next choice would be Lido. Nice being near all that good food.
