Have a great time on your cruise. We're sailing on the Crown in November, can't wait. To be on the safe side, get some motion sickness medication. We had a terrible problem with motion sickness in the Gulf of Mexico during Hurricane Katrina. Hopefully, you will be able to avoid this problem.

If you are worried about getting seasick then you should probably take some seasick medicine with you. You can get the patch from your doctor which you change every 72 hours. Sometimes the patch can cause some side affects though. I just got back from the Panama Canal and their was one day that I really got seasick. Someone on the ship told me to go to the medical center and that I could get some really good medicine their. At the medical center they sold me this UK drug called Avomine which worked very well. It cost $10.00 for a box of 10 pills so you always have that option as well.

We used the accupunture routine to combat seasickness.

Bring it anyway - you are sailing in the open oceans now. A simple thunderstorm can make the seas a bit rough.

Better safe - than sorry!
