I was wondering if I could get some REAL details on the ports of call and the Crown?
1-how far are the beaches in bermuda, san Juan, & st. thomas?
2 how safe are the beaches in these ports?
3 is grand truk center as nice as it looks?
4- the ship as nice as it LOOKS?
5-how is the food?
Just got home yesterday from the crown. Great southern caribbean cruise. It was our 8th cruise but first on Princess. The ship was lovely. The entertainment gave you lots of choices. The food--well, not my favorite. Didn't feel there was enough selection, unles you went to a special dining room. Breakfast was the same every day. Didn't like the canned peaches served. Bakery left alot to be desired. Food was pretty basic, nothing outstanding. Overall, a nice cruise

Beaches-not that far.I prefer Horseshoe over Elbow in Bermuda, and Magens Bay in St. Thomas. Both are safe especially in Bermuda. Yes to Grand Turk and the ship. The food is fine, up to cruise standards. Breakfast is indeed never changing.

Hello...I've been on 4 cruises and been to St. Thomas twice and will be visiting again in October 2007. Meagans Bay is beautiful but was a little disappointed with it because I was expecting so much more. Meagans Bay has a great scenery and beautiful waters but they don't offer any water sports but they do have a litlte bar/grill on the beach and even a waitress who will come and take your bar order in the water. Another great beach in St. Thomas is Sapphire Beach, this beach does offer the water sports and the sites there are gorgeous too. Enjoy your cruise!
