Default evening whale quest

I have booked the Evening Whale Quest trip as one of our shore excursions. The description says the trip is from 5pm to 830pm, the ship is supposed to leave port at 9pm, will this be enough time to get back to the ship or do we risk it sailing without us?

If you booked this tour through the cruise line you have nothing to worry about. Even if you are late returning they will wait for you. If you have booked this independently on your own you will probably be be on the pier waving "Goodbye" to the ship. Always book through the cruise line. It will probably cost a little more but the peace of mind is worth it.

You are definitely OK. When you book through the cruise line they keep track of your whereabouts and if there is any delay with your return they will wait for you. It has happened to us several times. Once in Hawaii the bus we were on blew a tire and the ship delayed sailing for almost 2 hours waiting for our return.
Have a great cruise.
