Default Tahiti/Marquesas Islands Honeymoon

Hi Everyone. Will be celebrating honeymoon on the Oct. 31 Tahitian Princess cruise to Tahiti, Marquesas Islands. Anyone have any suggestions of things "not to miss" while visiting? I had the fortune to spend 10 days in Moorea about 20 years ago when I was 16, and I'm hoping it is as beautiful as I remember. My fiance has never been anywhere like this. Any other honeymooners out there on the same cruise? Any help is really appreciated.

Welcome to CruiseMates, and best wishes on your upcoming marriage!

MV Tahitian Princess is a great little ship. She still had a few start-up glitches when I was aboard her (April 2003), like the fact that the deck lounges for the promenades had not yet arrived in Papeete and the fact that the youth counsellors were aboard for the first time on any ship of that class, so they had to write the manual for the youth program on the R1 class of ships as they ran it. Princess also did a super job of tailoring shows to the facilities aboard that class of vessels, so the shows were truly outstanding in spite of limited stage facilities.

And the islands of the South Pacific are absolutely one of the most gorgeous places on earth!

Again, best wishes for a great, and truly memorable, honeymoon and, most important of all, for a fabulous marriage. Ad multos annos!

Norm.

Default Tahiti Oct 31

We will be on the Tahitian Princess on Oct 31st as well. But it is not our honeymoon. We were in Tahiti 3 years ago. It is superb. Relaxing, Snorkeling/Scuba is the best, The drift snorkel at Tahaa is the best.
While on Tahiti, Pappette, the Market is a fun place to browse before the ship leaves. Also pick up Flowers for your stateroom and Leis.
The island tours are fun and interesting.

We can hardly wait to return. We will be at Moorea for a few days before the cruise.
