Default Sofa Beds in balcony cabins

Does anyone know if there are sofa-beds in all the balcony cabins on the Dawn. some of the brochures say yes while others say 2 adults. We are thinking of asking daughter and granddaughter along but only if there is room in our cabin cat-BA. Or maybe they can re-arrange the cabin with a sofa bed? Does anyone have any clues? Thank you upfront............

Hi Recon,

I don't see many BA cabins with room for a 3rd or 4th person . There are 6 cabins on Aloha deck that will accomodate 3 or 4 people. (A640, 641, 730, 732, 735, 737.) These are also cabins with a shower only and the beds can't be put together.

As far as I know, these few balcony cabins are the only one's that have room for more than two people. The only cabins I see with a sofa bed are mini suites.

Even if you have one of these cabins, if you're sailing soon or on a cruise that's fully booked you probably can't add other passengers . There's a maximum number of people (whether the cabins are full or not) that can be booked on each sailing.

I'd suggest that you check with your TA or Princess to find out for sure.

as far as i know its only the mini-suites that have sofa beds. If the cabin says it can accomodate 3-4 it will have either a pull down from the celing bed or a pullman style bed, also you will only get a tub in mini-suites and above cats

Well thanks for your insight but I am still confused. If you go to the Princess web sight and go through the process of booking a B-cat cabin, the description of the cabin definitely says sofa. However when calling Princess I was told some cabins do have sofas and that the description page is just giving a general idea of the cabin layout. That being said I was hoping to hear from someone who has been on the Dawn and in a balcony cabin. Interesting advertising that Princess uses to lure in their passengers

To add what Fern said...

Refer to http://www.princess.com/ships/dp/dec...oha_index.html

As an example, you can tell which BA cat balcony rooms allow 3rd & 4th persons by the red dot next to the room on the diagram (e.g., A640, A641....)

Does it matter whether they sleep on pulldowns, pullman or sofabed - as long as the cabin accommodates 4 people?

Hope that helps clear things up.

Nope. You get a tub and a shower.
