cabin booking proceedure

We booked a cruise for 7 days for this October 20 Balcony guaranteed Dont understand why when booking a cabin number is not given so you can check it out in the brochure

When you book a cabin in a catergory as a guarantee, you will not get a cabin number until Princess figures out where you will be. You might be in that catergory or another one above it.

How It Works: Depending on availability, Princess offers guarantees within specific categories as an alternative to an assigned cabin.

When You'll Know: Cabin assignments may be made at any time between the time of booking and several days before departure

If you book a cabin straight away, you get to pick your cabin.

Whoever booked you, booked your cabin as a guarantee. If you prefer you CAN book a specific that you choose from a brochure.

If that's your preference, contact the person you booked with, and tell them you want to book a specific cabin.

You may not get a cabin assignement until a week or two prior to sailing. Bookine a guarantee cabin is usually less expensive, but you have to wait to get your cabin number and you never know what part of the ship you will be in. Keep checking your Princess booking to see if you have been assigned a cabin yet. It may not even get assigned until the day you board the ship. I've had clients who have had this happen!
