differences in staterooms?

We are leaving for our first cruise on Sept 6th for Alaska on the Island Princess. Something thats been nagging at me is the differences between the Mini-suite with balcony and the Ocean-view double with balcony. We went with the Ocean-view double with balcony, in an attempt to save a bit of money. But looking at the pictures , did we miss out on something great by going the cheaper route?

You only lose out on a liitle sitting area between the bed and the slider that leads to the deck. No big deal. The deck is the key wjen it comes to Alska cruisong. Throw a small blanket over your shoulders and enjoy the ride.

Also, the mini-suites have two TVs and a bathtub.
