CABO WABO IN CABO SAN LUCAS

Does anyone know if the Cabo Wabo bar/restaurant is within walking distance of the tender pier in Cabo Wabo for Princess Cruise Lines? We have friends that are going to be at an all-inclusive in Cabo same time we sail there and we wanted to find a place to meet that was close to the pier.

I think that Hard Rock is closer and has more atmosphere than Cabo Wabo.

We walked to Cabo Wabo from the dock but left pretty quickly. It was so loud you couldn't really visit and it was as stated, not so much atmosphere. We wanted to say we had been and get a shirt, that was plenty of time for us, but it is within walking distance. Hope that helps

ok thanks guys - the Hard Rock might work better. We are in our 50's, the people we are meeting are in their 20's - and of course had never even heard of Sammy Hagar who owns the Cabo Wabo. Hard Rock may give us a better chance to visit and be able to hear each other.

Yes it's an easy walk. I actually ate at the joint across from Cabo Wabo's since apparently it is the popular place with cruisers. Food was great and the service unhurried. Enjoy whatever you do.

I have to agree with the others about Cabo Wabo being a bit boring. Hard Rock or even Senor Frogs would be much better. Not being there at night takes a lot of the fun out of most of the clubs/restarants.

RT - Thanks - one of our friends mentioned Senor Frogs and I did not realize there was one in Cabo. Will do some research because I know she likes Senor Frogs - Do I assume it is also in the same vicinity?

Actually I was mistaking. It was El Squid Roe, which is simular. They don't have a Sr. Frogs there. It is on the main strip with most of the other bars. It has been a few yrs since I went to it so I can't tell you exactly how close to Hard Rock it is. If you go to their website, they have Hard rock coupons, so it must be close.
