Default Pre cruise celebration of birthday in Fort Lauderdale-Where?

We are flying in the day before our cruise which happens to be my birthday. We are staying at the Ramada Cruiseport with free shuttle from airport and to cruise port.

I'd like to do something really nice that evening for my birthday -- not opposed to taking a cab but want to go somewhere fun, nice, etc.

I thought about the Hard Rock in Seminol . . . . what do you think?? Any recommendations?

The estimate I got was about $20.00, without tip, for the ride to the casino..It should be a fun place to spend your birthday celebration, and will get you in the mood for the ship!

Lots of great restaurants, if you decide to go that route..

Ona A1A, right at the Bahia Mar yache Basin, which is the main drag, you have, the Jungle Queen, a paddle wheel river boat, which takes you down the New River, past millionaires Row, by the yacht builders, and on to an island, where you are served a family style buffet. then an old time variety show..a bit hokey, buit still a fune take in.
Any tourist brochure will give you coupons off.

Whatever you decide, gave a ball!

Find a water taxi spot and take it to dinner at The River House. Water view of millionaire's row. Great skippers who will keep you entertained and great walking, shopping, bars, etc. all around the River House. AND the River House is one EXTRAORDINARY and memorable place to celebrate your birthday.

Default Las Olmos River Walk

Ask a cabbie to take you to the river walk in Las Olmos just west of the city of Fort Lauderdale. Great place to eat drink and be merry. Plenty of restaurants pubs clubs and beautiful walk along the river. A DEFINITE DO NOT MISS AREA,,,,Happy b`day!!

Just wanted to make a minor correction, so, if you decide to go, you will know, it's Las Olas Blvd, right off of A1A!...A great, trendy area for sure!

Bimini Boatyard had, the most delicious Grilled Garlic Shrimp I ever tasted. Last time we visited, it was not on the menu, but if it is,.....go for it!!
