Grand/Caribbean Ships questions

Ok all you Princess pros I'm going to throw some questions at ya!

Does Grand and Caribbean have a basketball court?

Is the whole ship anytime dining?
If so would you have a wait at say 6pm for a small table?

How is the service?

Has anyone sailed both Grand and Caribbean and perfer one over the other and why?

The Grand has a basketball court and the anytime dining. We were very disappointed with the service at supper. The other times were good.

Although the Caribbean is newer, I prefer the Grand as it holds about 500 less passengers. Plus it still has a covered pool. The 2nd floor over the pool area has filtered sun/shade, plus is usually quieter if you just want to relax, sleep, read, etc.

Other than the size, they are very similar in decor and layout.

We've sailed both the Grand and the Carribean Princess. We really didn't notice a big difference in the two. Although the CB has more passengers we never noticed.

The whole ship is not Anytime Dining. There's one Traditional Dining room and two Anytime Dining rooms. The only time we had to wait for a table for two was just a few minutes on Formal Night in Anytime Dining.

We found the service to be very good on both ships.
