Crown Princess Southern-Excursion Help?

Hello everyone, I am leaving on the Crown on Jan. 12th and was wondering if anyone has done this cruise and would you have any ideas on some good excursions to do. We prefer to do excursions privately (not thru cruise line). Any help would be great!

Which Southern route? There are two, they alternate weeks.

The Route-Barbados, St. Lucia, Antigua, Tortola, St. Thomas. Any help would be great.

The Crown Princess is beautiful you will just love it. We just got off the ship on November 3rd. We went to Barbados last year and we did a horseback riding, it was a great experience to horseback in the caribbean. In St. Lucia we went to the beach, we booked an excursion through the ship where we went to a resort, beautiful water, beach and island. St. Thomas is great, Megans Bay is gorgeous but it get's very packed so you must go there early, or you can go to Sapphire Beach that too is very nice, but if you have the extra time you should take a ferry over to St. John, the most beautiful scenery you will ever see in the caribbean. In fact, this past cruise on the Crown we booked a champagen catamaran snorkel trip, which goes from St. Thomas over to St. John where they will let you snorkel for an hour than they take you to a private beach in St. John. It's a pricey excursion, like $89pp but it's worth it, because on the way back from snorkeling and the beach they serve you cheeses, snacks, and oh yes champagne, it's a great excursion even if you don't like to snorkel.
