Default What To Pack!!

Hey Everyone....I could use some of the life experience out there for our upcoming trip on the CB...

I read the Princess literature and it had some suggestions on what to pack.....but I know your life experiences cruising out there would be most beneficial

Thanks

Figure out the clothes you want, and cut the amount in half ! Bring a waterproof card case to wear around your neck, if you have a digital camera bring extra batteries (or a small charger) and extra memory card, not too much cash but plastic money ! If you are a shopaholic for trinkets and souvenirs bring an empty bag or small suitcase.

Make sure you have a good, small, carry on bag for your disembarkation. I lugged a heavy one around for six hours before we caught our flight home and envied the seasoned travelers with their small rolling cases or backpacks. You'll have to pack anything in it that you needed the night before and the day you disembark (jammies, undies, toothbrush, book, etc).

For some, the cut your packing list in half rule is a good thing. I, however, was happy I brought more than I needed because I liked having good options about what to wear every day. Some days I would change up to four times - early AM, excursion, dinner, after dinner (depending on weather changes, activities and comfort).

Definitely do NOT forget the digital/film camera equipment and accessories. We forgot to bring our charger for the digital camera and it pooped out after the second day. Thankfully, I had a film backup.

I am an overpacker, and proud of it...I would suggest you bring a power strip....so many electricals to plug in, and recharge..also a green garbage bag to use as a hamper in your closet, then you can just pack the bag, for home...

Also pack what you will need as far as health and beauty products, becasue to replace on the ship or in port they will be $$$$

Also pack meds in case you get a cold..I wish I had, but, Cruisemates onboard helped me out!

A night light light is handy so are plastic storage bags (remember you will have a fridge and keep little goodies in it, like extra desserts, some cheese, fruit for snacking) Band-aids, alarm clock that glows in the dark, highlighter to mark important events on the Patters & wrinkle releaser is the best!!!
