I used them and paid the extra couple of dollars to have the driver waiting for us with our name when we got off the boat. I must say I couldn't have had a nicer transition back to the airport. Sorry you had a bad experience, but I wanted people to know that they aren't all bad.

Default Taxi service

On our last cruise, we used the taxi service between FLL and Port Everglades. Short trip, $20 when we shared a cab with another couple going to the ship. We'll do it again in November.

I believe I used them once and did not have a problem, but stuff happens. Sorry you got burned. I assume you were going to Miami. A taxi is usally about $65, whereas the limo is probably about $50. It costs more, but you always know you can get a taxi.
