Yes. The Crown Princess has self-serve laundry facility on almost every desck including ironing boards and irons along with washer and dryers. Princess prohibites irons in the rooms for safety reasons. There is NO charge for the irons but there is a fee for the washers and dryers. There is even a soap/softner dispenser in the laundry room - at an additional cost of course. This is a big plus when sailing on long voyages. I believe Princess is one of the few cruise lines that offers a self-serve laundry facility.
Thank you very much. We actually could not find our portable iron and for this reason finally thought about if the ships offer this service. We have always done our ironing in our room (don't tell anyone).
18 cruises and counting!!!!!!
Next cruise-Jan.1-9, 2011 Carnival Freedom
This is good to know since we are sailing on the Crown in March for 14 days. My Wife asked me about this only yesterday. thanks. BTW, cruise dreaming, all Holland Ships we've been on have self serve laundries as well. We've been on three 30 day+ cruises and could not possibly have done without them.
Landlocked in Denver, but cruisin every chance we get.
