It is my understanding that Princess Ships in St Thomas dock at Crown Bay rather than Havensight. I know that the shopping there is not as good and a work in progess. I have a couple other questions however. First when we are to be there (Feb. 21st) there will be two Princess ships in port. Will there therefore be any problem getting a taxi to go to Secret Harbor Resort on the east side of the Island (or anywhere else). Second has anyone been to Secret Harbor. It is suppose to be a nice place to hangout, have lunch, and just relax. Thanks for any help
Hi..I just got off the Caribbean Princess this past Sunday and we were able to dock at Havensight..but only because we were the only Princess ship in St Thomas that week.
The week before the same cruise did dock at the other place. I think the other Princess ship was doing a 10 day cruise, that is why it changes from week to week..

In November, we docked at Crown Bay on the Emerald Princess and there were NO ships docked at Havensight. Regent Seven Seas Voyager was also docked there. Crown Bay is definitely a work in progress and has a long, long way to go. It costs $4 to go to town and $5 to Havensight by taxi. I didn't do it but believe there are a lot of taxis. Friends of mine took the bus.
I cruise the Emerald Princess, Eastern Caribbean on April 16, 2012
There are plenty of cabs at the taxi stand at Crown Bay, with drivers organizing the passengers by destination. The fares to various points are clearly posted. The taxi stand is easy to find, just walk straight ahead after debarkation.
