HI..I just got back from being on the Carib. Princess in early January. There was an amazing seafood buffet right after we left FLL and a lot of people did not know about it..steamed shrimp, crab legs, lots of good food. They do have great entertainers, like comedians and very good musicians..have to give that to them. Arrive early to get a seat at all, if the show is in the Explorers Lounge..There is also a movie screen by one of the pools, and the show movies at night..When I was there it was the NFL playoff weekends, so it was great to hang with other fans and watch the games on this HUGE screen.

Welcome to the wonderful work of cruising..

Enjoy..Elise

I was on the Caribbean Princess in 2006, and the newer (and very similar ) Crown last March. I preferred the crew of the Caribbean. An overall excellent experience.

The Caribbean Princess re-introduced me to cruising after a 10 year layoff, and once again cruises are my preferred vacation. I'm a super type-A personality who often has difficulty disconnecting from work, yet I don't even think about work while on a cruise. Enjoy.

I sailed on the Caribbean Princess in Jan of 07 - beautiful ship, shows and food were great! Lots of deck space, nice bars.

lbrnewcruiser, you didn't say when you'll be on the Caribbean Princess.
We're going April 20, and the reason we booked it was because we loved it so much 2 years ago! Beautiful ship, great food, great service, wonderful entertainment, especially the pianist/comedian Bert Stratton.
Our itinerary is different from yours, St. Thomas, St. Maarten and Princess Cays. St. Thomas you should do the SkyRide to the top of the mountain - great views! St. Maarten, beaches everywhere, all are good. Princess Cays is a wonderful beach day experience. Enjoy your cruise!

Default Sailed the Western Caribbean on this ship

It was amazing, and Bert Stratton is the best. Book a night at the Sterling Steakhouse, too. I did the southern Caribbean on a Carnival Cruise last summer to some of your ports - we loved a barefoot catamaran sail and snorkel on St. Thomas. the staff and food on the ship was fantastic. Have a wonderful time!

In which ports does Caribbean Princess use the tenders? We will be going to
Grand Turk, San Juan, St. Thomas and Bermuda.

Thanks.
