Has anyone ever been scheduled for a two stop long plane ride with a least one long stopover? We are scheduled to leave at 855 am and will not arrive in San Juan until 8:35 pm for an 11 o'clock cruise. Will we miss alot by not arriving in the afternoon. This is scheduled by the cruiseline. Is there anything that we can do?
That is a horrible flight. If it is too late to do your own airfare, call your travel agent and I think for around $50/pp you can request a specific flight. I have never requested the deviation thru Princess, but have for Celebrity and RCCL. That is strange, because most cruise lines normally want to get you down there as early as possible, going home they don't care how long it takes...

When we were on our return leg from Miami last year, I had scheduled only layovers of an average of 30 minutes. American left the gate of our second leg 40 minutes late which meant we missed our connection in Dallas. We had a layover of 4 1/2 hours and a piece of my luggage was missing on top of it. Since we are at their mercy, there really isn't much we can do except fight with our pocletbooks and not use them. That is why I usually cruise out of my backyard in Galveston.
Cruised more times than I can remember.
