Shiploger ...have a look here......try the zoom in to see the hotel ....if you go to the Right until you reach the sea then go upwards and follow the coast to FL Harbour you can see a princess ship at the quayside. The hotel is at the side of the Red marker.

Hi everyone,

Can anyone help with transportation advice? We are flying into Miami the day before our cruise leaves out of Ft. Lauderdale. A couple of questions if anyone can help:

1) What would be the best way to get from Miami to Fort Lauderdale? And what costs might be involved?

2) Any hotel recommendations? I'm thinking it would be best to get to Fort Lauderdale area the day before (the day we fly in), and spend the night in Ft. Lauderdale instead of Miami. Any hotel suggestions?

Cab fares are fairly cheap & reasonable. Most hotels offer free shuttle service. We did not stay in MIAMI itself but we book in Ft Lauderdale @ the embassy suites which is around the corner from the princess dock. We met alot of folks going on Caribbean Princess that where also staying at the hotel.

The hotel sits in the center of many restaurants. They have a big outside pool with it's own waterfall. The rooms are very nice outside the balcony you can see the princess dock and other ships docked.

So not so many people have stayed at this Hotel then?
