Balcony cabin size on Star princess?

We're booked on Aloha deck catagory BB cabin. I've heard Princess cabins are small and I've heard Princess cabins are roomy.

Which is it? Small or roomy? :-?

I've been in a regular balcony cabin on NCL and Several regular balcony cabins on Carnival. Are they about the same as either of those? The Princess cabin doesn't appear to have a couch or even room for one.

Just curious really. I'm sure I'll be just fine either way.

BB category on the Star Princess - there is no couch. Balcony cabins have a small chair. Mini-suite on the Star will have a couch in a little sitting area. Look on the Princess website and they usually have a picture of the cabins. Some cabins have a little larger balcony than others and that depends upon where the cabins are on the ship. Caribe deck has a larger balcony than Baja. But then the Caribe balcony can be looked down on from the Baja because it does stick out farther. Aloha is up higher and has shade from the deck above.... good choice if you are in a hot climate.

Thanks.....

I did look at the Princess website at the cabin pics but it doesn't give the idea of roomy or not.

Glad to hear the balcony is shaded though. I'm guessing it isn't looked down on then either. Which is good.
