Default Again, New to cruising

I'm sure this has been addressed before, but would appreciate guidance, information and direction regarding 'Theme Nights', particularly on the Dawn Princess. The shipping line will not disclose what the 'themes' are, but say that 'Theme' gear can be purchased. (Really? Like everything else I guess)

Will really be gratefull for your help on this matter.
Cheers, Nevl

the "theme" nights usually revolve around the food served in the main dining rooms you will have Italian night, French Night, Mexican Night, Island Night etc.
Island Night/Deck Party night - wear light, bright tropical colors, you will lots of men in hawaiin print shirts. You might have an oldies or an country-western night but thats about it

Ditto the Hawaiian shirt thing, and let not your heart be overly concerned about it.
