Coral Princess - Bayou Cafe & Steakhouse or Sabatini's

Has anyone tried both specialty restaurants on the Coral? If so, which did you prefer? I've heard great things about Sabatini's but not much on the Bayou/Stearling steakhouse restaurants and didn't get a chance to try either while on the Emerald last year. Any input is much appreciated.

We were on the Coral Princess a year and 1/2 ago and tried the Bayou Steak House. We found that the food was good but for some reason we had very poor service & there were only 4 tables occupied!! However, we have had dinner at Sabatini's, 3X and really enjoyed it. BEWARE - there is really a ton of food!

BTW, I used to live just east of Labelle for about 20 years and visited Ft. Myers/Sanibel quite often. I loved the area, particularly Sanibel, but it's been so long, I doubt I would recognize a thing.

Yes, Sanibel has changed quite a bit, since Hurricane Charley in 2004! The draw bridge has been replaced with a high rise bridge too!

I do encourage you to try Sabatini's - I really think you will enjoy it but skip lunch that day so you have plenty of room for all the courses and Have a Great Cruise!!!

Yes, we ate at both, and loved both! At Bayou Cafe, there was a trio who played wonderful music. The lead was Perry Phillips. We often stopped there just to have a cocktail and watch them. We loved the combination of food and music.

My wife and I sailed on the Coral a few years ago and the Steak House was the best. Give it a try and I believe you will enjoy the food and the service.
