Congrats on your upcoming cruise. Our first cruise was about the Star Princess, many, many moons ago. We weren't taken that much by Alaska, but we sure fell in love with Princess.

Have a great cruise

I'm glad you found the cruise. I know how much you've been wanting to go back. I think you will like cruising out of Seattle. It's one of the prettiest places to cruise out of. (IMO)

Take care,
Mike

Donna, when do you sail? We have our first ever cruise booked to Alaska from Seattle on the Golden Princess at the end of August - I'm so excited to do 2 things that I've wanted to do for so long, cruise and go to Alaska! And I note that you joined CM on my b'day, 8/18 - so I feel some weird connection to you! :-)

Hi Sandy,
I've cruised on Golden once before, I think you'll totally enjoy it, especially in Alaska. I go on Star Princess Aug. 17...

Donna, You will love cruising the Alaskan waters again! Last year we went on a cruise tour with Princess and cruised on the Coral. A cruise of a life time. Have a super cruise!

I sure will! How did you like Coral Princess. I was looking at that ship too...Did you by chance do any canopy tours when you were there, and if so, what port?

Hi Fin,
Another name for the canopy tour is a zip line.....ever done that in Alaska.

I did it in Jamaica and it was a lot of fun. I can just imagine doing it in Alaska...

Hi Danny,
Did you want the pic in the post or in your avitar?? Both ways, the pic you want to use needs to be on the web somewhere. You can use the personal Cruisemates gallery if you wish and just link it to your post or in your avitar..

Hi again DAnny,
If you want an avitar, it will put a little pic in the box with your name and number of posts. You still need to have a pic on the net and link it by going into your profile.. Give that a try and see if it works. You can get more info by going into "help".

Good luck!

Hi Donna,
Do you think San Francisco, will become a regular cruise ship port. There are so many people here that would relly like to see that happen.
I have talked to city government many times, but I can't get a straight answer.

Default Alaska got me hooked!

Have a great cruise. Alaska was our second cruise. The first was the Fairsea to Mexico back in the Sitmar days 1973. Cruising was not for us. Then came Alaska in 2001 and Cruise industry had changed. I am sure we had changed some over the years. It was wonderful. Enjoy. Mike

I wish Princess would place another ship in Galveston.
