We're booked on the Crown Princess for Oct 5 and this is our 1st Princess cruise. We have previously done RCCL.
I know many oppose this, but it is our opinion to keep dining casual on our cruise. We're on vacation and want to stay relaxed; we don't want to travel with formal wear or have to get dressed up on OUR vacation.
Having said this, we are planning on solely eating casual. It looks like there are plenty of options. Does anyone have any input? We are currently booked for Anytime Dining.
Also, on the buffet, is soda included or are we better off getting the soda card?
Soda is not included so if you are a big soda drinker, you might be better off buying the card. We just bring a 12 pack in our carry on and have them for lunch.
If you mean casual as in shorts then you should plan to eat in the Horizon Court. Shorts are not allowed in any dining room for dinner. We didn't dress real fancy formal on the Crown but still enjoyed dinner in the dining room.
