Anyone sailing with us to Alaska on Aug. 30th? This will be our 2nd time to Alaska but the last time we were on Holland America and were able to get pretty close to the glaciers. I have read on some reviews that the Golden is not able to get as close because of her size--any comments from anyone that has gone on this cruise? Also have read some negative comments about the ship. We sailed on the Golden about 5 years ago and were very pleased with the service, food, entertainment, etc.--but we think ANY cruise is a good cruise (no cooking, no bed making, plenty of relaxing time!!)
