Default Riviera Deck Emerald Princess

Ohh I couldn't resist either, I just paid the upgrade from Oceanview to Balcony... I just went to the Cruise Personalizer page and I have already been assigned my cabin which is R730 in Riviera Deck, I´m excited but I need some advice and opinions about this Deck... are the balconies covered, I think the Riviera is below the Lido Deck, would that mean noise?

HELP!

Irene :o

Lucky you for your transatlantic cruise. that is definately in my future plans. The balcony cabin on riviera is coveted by many cruisers. I booked a similar cabin on the sister ship, Ruby Princess for dec. and yes the balcony is covered.

The location is right near a door leading out to the terrace pool and a few stairs up is Outrigger & Cafe Caribe/Horizon Ct. This area is a wonderful place to hang out & relax plus it's usually a quieter atmosphere.

As far as noise on lido above you I don't think you have anything to worry about. As I said this area on the ship is less occupied.

Have a wonderful crossing!

The Riviera Deck is a great choice. We had that deck on the Emerald in Nov of 08, and now we have R502 this July.

22 days until the Greek Isles on the Emerald.

Have a great cruise, and once you get a balcony you are hooked.
