I booked a single supplement on vacations to go. Princess told me if I asked the VTG agent that they could possibly upgrade. I paid for a partial ocean view. VTG said no way. Does anyone know how to get an upgrade on Princess through VTG? I am traveling on the Princess Crown and have never cruised before. I am claustrophibic and afraid the partial view will make me feel closed in. Thanks everyone!
Unfortunately, the only sure way to get an upgrade, is to pay for it. There are times when it happens, but more times, it doesn't. I've cruised Princess a few times and I also booked a guarantee balcony cabin, so far no upgrade... You may want to ask your agent, what the cost is to move up, sometimes its not a lot and it will also depend on how full the ship is.
