Any Suggestions for Tours in Antiqua, Barbados and St. Kitts
We are on the Emerald Princess on November 20, 2008 and are looking for any suggestions on excursions that do not involve too much walking. Has anybody been to these ports and taken such tours?
Of the 2 islands mentioned, I have only been to Barbados. Try Harrisons Caves, which have recently reopened after major renovations...who knew you could redecorate a cave!
I thought, me visit a cave??? Well, I really did enjoy it.. surprised the heck out of me;) We also did an island tour, and loved that too, had the most gracious, informative driver too....Enjoy..I want to go back!

Thanks!
On Barbados, the tour called "Orchid World and Tea at Sunbury Plantation" would be an excellent choice if Princess still offers it.
And on either island, you could do the "Five Star Catamaran and Beach" tour. On these tours, you walk to the end of the pier to board the catamaran, then back to the ship -- that's it!
I visited the Harrison Caves before the reno and it was a very interesting trip, you can get a taxi to take you there. If you want to visit a beach, there is always Boatyard beach, not far from the pier, its a good walk, but also you can take a cab.
Another nice beach in St. Kitts it Turtle beach, good drive from the pier, but also a very scenic one. You can do a share a cab with others to keep the cost down.
