Grand Mediterranean - Barcelona to Venice - Emerald Princess

We are considering this cruise (if still offered at the time) for our daughter's high school graduation in 2011. She is now in her second year of Latin and really wants to see the "Roman World”). Her brother, who will be 22 by then, will join us. We are both in our early to mid 50's.

Here is the itinerary. Does anyone know if Princess is likely to renew this after its current schedule?

1 Barcelona, Spain 10:00 PM
2 Marseille (Provence), France 8:30 AM 6:00 PM
3 Florence/Pisa (Livorno), Italy 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
4 Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
5 Naples/Capri, Italy 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
6 At Sea
7 Mykonos, Greece 7:00 AM 2:00 PM
8 Istanbul, Turkey 8:00 AM 6:00 PM
9 Kusadasi (Ephesus), Turkey 12:00 PM 7:00 PM
10 Athens (Piraeus), Greece 6:00 AM 5:45 PM
11 At Sea
12 Venice, Italy 1:00 PM
13 Venice, Italy 5:00 AM

We previously cruised with Royal Caribbean and loved it. Do we sound like a fit for Princess? This would be a very long trip for us but the breath of the itinerary is what pulls us in. I can't find anything like this with any of the other lines I've looked at.

No way to tell at this point in time. Princess does not have any European cruises past 11.09 posted on the Web Site.

My wife and I just returned from our cruise in Europe and we have visited all of those ports of call.

I think you and your family will have a trip of a life time. It was our second cruise to Europe and it was well worth it.

Have a great time.
