My wife and I are leaving this Nov.2 sailing on Caribbean Princess...
we'll be writing on the trip afterwards, if your interested.
Please let us know about your experience. Especially interested in the Anytime Dining vs Tradional Dining. Read everywhere that the Anytime has waiting for a table issues and long lines. How are the specialty restaurants? How is bar service in the dining venues? Our first Princess cruise..........loved service on RCCL!
its ok but i like the structured dining better. I know what time to eat and my table is ready. I just cruised on 10/26/08 on this ship and it was nice. I did not like the fact that the norvirus was going around. I washed my hands about a thousand times while on board. the good news is that i did not get sick. I also ate at the lido deck quite a few times and the food was good, not great.
We loved the CB, and we loved the Anytime Dining, we have done it before, and we have also done trad. dining both late and early seatings , and there is no contest, we will never go back to regimented dining.
We were a family of five and loved sitting on our own, plus we never had to wait long for dinner, maybe ten minutes, we thought it was totally worth it, not having to rush to dinner after a shore day, or wait for dinner when hungary.
We found the CB to be pretty much the same as the Grand and Golden, only a bit newer, and I think the childrens club was newer, but we only used it on CB and only looked breifly at it on other ships.
