Default Specialty Restaurant

How much is the specialty restaurants on Crown Princess. I thought I read for the Steak house that it was $30.00 but is that per person or a couple?

As of 9.30.08, the Crown Grill was $25 per person and Sabatini's Italian trattoria was $20 per person.

We just got off the Sea Princess and it was $15 per person in Sterling. It was OK but I probably wouldn't do it again on that ship. It was worth the extra money on the Diamond, Sapphire and Crown however.

Sabatini's was worth every penny! But be sure and have them bring your entree toward the beginning of the meal (earlier in the meal than they normally serve it) or you will not have room for it!! We were very surprised to find that all you CHOOSE is your entree and your dessert- you are served everything else you see on the menu! The last time we dined there they were kind enough to send our desserts to our room for later consumption!!
Also, allow several hours or more for the experience!

We ate in the Crown Grill on Crown Princess last week. The food and service were noticeably better. It was $25 per person with another $9 surcharge for lobster. DH had the lobster, I had a filet mignon. The steak was at least 2 grades better quality than the beef in the dining room.
My favorite part was the dessert sampler- A tray with 4 small desserts, samples of each of the offerings (except some cobbler).

Were they warm water or cold water lobsters?

They have a lot of nerve charging a surcharge on lobsters these days. They are dirt cheap in restaurants. I've seen specials as low as $12 for twin lobsters (1 and quarter pounds each).
