Default Just got off the Crown Princess on Oct 26th

We just finished our cruise. The Crown is a wonderful ship. But its so big that I got lost everytime I went out. But thats easy for me. I loved the Movies under the stars. The dinners were wonderful, buffet was so, so. Our room was comfortable, but we had problems with the air conditioner not keeping the room cool, and smell coming from the toilet. The ship did a lot of rocking and rolling, so it was a pretty rough ride. We ate dinner with someone who said she had previously been on 7 other cruises and had never had the rocking like this before. So I'm not sure if its the ship or if we just had rough water. The crew was all wonderful. Never had any problems with lines at the buffet and we also had anytime dining and never had to wait there. I would have liked to see more suvenier shops instead of the art auction. But over all we had a wonderful time.

Hi jackie,
So glad you did enjoy your cruise in spite of the rough waters, that does happen sometimes.

What ports did you visit?

St. Maartens, St. Thomas and Grand Turk. Didn't care too much for St. Maartens, but thought St. Thomas was beautiful, and had a wonderful time at Grand Turk! Beautiful Port!

Default Thanks for info

Thanks for info jackieb, we are on Crown next June/July for 28 days, around Europe and British Isles. Re the rock and roll, is the Crown prone to that, I mean does she have a reputation for rollling, maybe because of her height?

Anyway, she sounds great.
