Default We know you can take wine but..

We know you can take 2 bottles of wine but was wondering if you can bring like a 12 pack of soda on board or do they have a place you can buy a can, I hate the soda passes. Any ideas?

You can lug a case of soda without issue.

So this rule has not changed right? 1 bottle of wine per person is allowed to be brought on board from the departing port?

Thanks!

Question: What is the alcohol policy onboard Princess Cruises?

Answer: We kindly request that you do not bring alcoholic beverages (other than wine and/or champagne) onboard for consumption. Alcoholic beverages that are purchased duty free from the ship's gift shop or at ports of call will be collected for safekeeping and delivered to your stateroom on the last day of the voyage. A member of our Security Staff will be at the gangway to assist with the storage of your alcoholic beverage purchases.

for me, one of the great mysteries of life is why this question goes on and on and on and on. just read your cruise documents and the policy will be laid out for whatever line you are on. lordy, all of this for a few cans of soda.

Seems like I should appoligize for asking a question here, but I do not have my doc's yet and thought this was a sight where any question could be asked with out comment of how "bad" or "repetitive" it may be. I was looking for a quick answer ,my spouse is a pilot and never tires of people asking the same question or have not found the answers elsewhere 1st. Seems it 's always easier to help out.

I think someone owes you an apology. You shouldn't be made to feel like you should apologize for asking questions. I think some people who are on the board all the time forget that others only visit occasionally. I have cruised without docs too, so I understand why you asked.

You can bring soda. You can also buy it. Last time it was about $1.50/can + gratuity. I buy by the can because I don't drink enough of it to justify the cost of the card.

Have a good trip!

I agree, thought a question was worth a quick answer. I do not have my documents yet either. Thing is the agent didn't seem keen about us bringing a bottle of wine - thus we are celebrating my brother's 20th wedding anniversary. Unfortunately not all of us get to cruise a few times a year either and seems odd that a forum like this would have individuals upset about someone asking a question. Am I wrong here? I thought this was a friendly community.
