We are booked on the Crown Princess for an Eastern Caribbean cruise on April 19, 2009. We will have an inside cabin K-P330 on the Plaza Deck. Is anyone familiar with this cabin? How about the Plaza Deck? Pros and cons from previous experience?
Location: A Southern Gentleman (Southern California)
About the Plaza deck, being you have an inside cabin, the preferred decks would be the Lido deck first and the Plaza deck second, point being, these are the least conjested decks in prime locations to the activity.
At 3 AM passengers, especially party goers leaving the night club, seem to talk very loud while laughing and joking while stumbling back to there cabins, the Lido and Plaza decks have less then 58% of the traffic of all other decks.
I do know that on the prior generation of Princess ships, Star, Grand and Caribbean Princess, cabin P-330 had a smaller chothes storane area, about 2-foot shorter then the ajoining cabins.
This may not apply with the current serious of vessals, being the Crown, Emerald and Ruby Princess.
Customer Service may be able to answer your specific question or perform a search on the cruisemate search box.
Remember, you can turn on your television and set that channel to the exterior camera on the bow and view the front of the ship and ocean.
That is your window.
I have also provided additional Fort Lauderdale area info, there is also information on Airports, Restaurants, Taxi’s and the Crown Princess Ports of Call in the Eastern caribbean.
If any of the information is helpful, copy/past and forward to other friends.
