Any major differences between the Golden and the Star?

It sounds like the Star was refurbished somewhat recently (according to the Princess video), but I might have misunderstood. We are getting close to booking and want to make sure we get on the "better" ship.

They are cut from the same cookie cutter. There might be some minor difference, but they are essentially the same.

I've cruised on both, pretty much the same. Since I was on Star in Alaska, they added the movie screen and did some other things. Try to find out if Golden has the MOTS or not...

Star Princess is a few years newer than Golden...

Star Princess was in dry dock in San Francisco in September 26, 2008. The dry dock lasted 13-days. I don't know about the Golden Princess.

The Golden Princess is due to get MUTS in May 09.
