We are taking the Feb 14th Ruby princess cruise and after reserving it, we have read some negatives about the Chukka Canopy experience in Ocho Rios Jamaica (zip lines.) we have ziplined before and found it fun...any input?
my brother is a lawyer in asheville
know any of them?
read some review that the climbing and walking were too strenuous which i found hard to believe...maybe the reviewer was a couch potato????
also the bus ride there was scary, very steep???
one of our fellow traveing buddies has gotten scared off, so we wanted to double check on this.
thanks for first response

The hike in would be considered easy to moderate. We never had to stop and catch our breath. As far as the bus ride is considered, well...... going anywhere in Jamaica or other islasnds for that matter can be sketchy at best. They drive fast with little regard for each other. However they are fairly used to this kind of driving. The road in is steep and winding. I wouldn't however let this deter me from going. My D/G finds it better to not sit in the very front of the bus.
This was our first zipline and we thoroughly had a blast. Yes the van ride up the mountain is steep and curvy but beautiful scenery. The climbing/walking between zips wasn't hard to do at all. We will be doing our number six zip next month in St. Lucia.
