Default How many bags??

Doing an Alaskan cruisetour in June. Flying from Pittsburgh to Seattle on our own (of course) and Princess will fly us from Seattle to Anchorage to begin the land portion of the tour. How many bags does Princess allow? Also the TA told me that I could send baggage that I will not need for the land tour ahead. Does that sound right?

Yes, they will forward luggage for you, at a price. I think it's something like $90 a bag.

Have you tried the website at Princess? There is a wealth of information on their site.

Navigate to their Cruise Answer Book. I really believe you'll find all or most of the information you're looking for.

Let me know how your Cruise tour went. I'll be doing it in August.

Sweet Sailing!

Keep in mind that Princess does have self service laundry rooms on their ships, so you can do a load or two during the cruise. That could limit the amount of clothes you bring, something more manageable. The airlines do have the restrictions too.

I love the fact that Princess has laundry rooms. They came in handy on our last cruise and will be packing a lot less for our upcoming trip.

Now the only thing they need to add is a flat screen so if I'm ironing I have something to watch.

The limiting factor is how many bags
" WILL THE AIRLINES ALLOW "

The last time we were over weight , the one cost almost

$150 USD . We were only 5 lbs overweight.

It's worth it to purchase the scale that will weigh your luggage. 150.00 for an overweight bag is tough to handle..On another post I read, some people purchase a bag to repack, and pay the extra bag fee, which is less then the overweight charge.....

On our cruse to Alaska, we had one that was 51 and the other only 48, so we jockeyed some things around to make them both 49...Oy....a bit of a hassle in the middle of the airport, but saved $...
